How many sessions do you recommend starting off with?
Consistency is important for building muscle, losing body fat, and/or improving general health. For most individuals, a gradual progression to 3-4 days of resistance training and 150 minutes of cardiovascular activity will be optimal. In one mesocycle (typically 4-6 weeks of training), you should see progress, assuming we have nutrition and recovery in check as well!
What is included in the training sessions?
Regardless of the package you select, my commitment to your goals remains comprehensive and integrated. You’ll have access and guidance to programming outside of our sessions through a client application. I take a learning-centered approach to ensure that we are empowering you with the tools to build self-efficacy. We’ll introduce you to fundamental exercise and nutrition principles and concepts, so you understand the why and how.
Most importantly, we’ll focus on creating incremental, sustainable changes to your lifestyle and habits to help achieve and maintain your desired outcomes.
What's the breakdown of packages and payment?
We offer sessions in packages of 8 ($115/hr), 12 ($110/hr), and 24 ($105/hr), with discounted rates for larger packages. To ensure meaningful progress, I recommend a commitment of at least 2 training sessions per week. Payment is due before our sessions begin. Additionally, new clients can opt for our introductory session, which is 1 session for $50.
Where do training sessions take place, and what amenities and equipment are provided?
Training sessions are held at our dedicated studio located at 1 E 28th St. Our studio is equipped with lockers, showers, and towels for your comfort and convenience. You'll have access to a variety of equipment, including barbells, kettlebells, dumbbells, rowers, sleds, bikes, and more! If you prefer training at home or have your own home gym setup, feel free to get in touch to discuss personalized arrangements.
What is the cancellation policy?
Any scheduled in-person training session must be cancelled at least 24 hours in advance of the scheduled session time. For more information, you can read the Cancellation Policy here.
Are meal plans provided or do you accommodate injuries?
For personalized dietary needs, I recommend consulting with a registered dietitian. If you have existing injuries or medical conditions, please seek clearance from a qualified medical professional or physical therapist before getting started. Happy to provide recommendations based on your needs!
